Lapu-Lapu district in the Province of Cebu is considered as the Guitar Making Capital of the Philippines. The Cebu-made guitar is known all over the country as the best guitar one can buy locally. Aside from the fact that high quality guitars (not those touristy kind -- as shown on the photo above) are made from solid wood, they also have great decorations and more importantly, produce great sound.
